Cap’n Crunch

Cap’n Crunch and Walmart wanted to create an ad spot that highlighted Cap’n Crunch products and introduced Walmart’s free home delivery service, Walmart+. The brand asked us to pull inspiration from the Cap’n’s Quarters Airbnb experience that had launched the previous year. We quickly decided to bring the Cap’n’s own houseboat to life and equip him with all the snacks he and Sea Dog need on their next adventure.
Animation just wasn’t an option due to timing and budget constraints, but thanks to a random post on LinkedIn and a little bit of luck, we were able to track down a life-size Cap’n costume that even the client didn’t know existed. With our star talent secured, we started creating the perfect home for our Cap’n, complete with surprise memorabilia and brand easter eggs.
